Sun Peaks Resort will once again host the Girls Fast Forward (GFF) Mega Camp this coming April 17-20. BC Alpine (@bcalpine) says an all-star cast of coaches and athletes will gather for three packed days of on-snow ski training, strength and conditioning training, connection, a female health workshops, and athlete panels.
”One of the focuses of the GFF camps is to continue to make female coaches and high-level female ski racers visible to the younger female skiers throughout Canada. It starts with access to these role models and continues with connection. Creating an environment where athletes and coaches can share their experiences and learn from one another is one of the coolest things,” noted Montana Molyneux, Women’s BC Ski Team Head Coach.
“As a coach, having a crew of all-female coaches to work with is truly a special feeling. I think every athlete should have a chance to work with female coaches, just as they should with male coaches. Everyone offers something different and that diversity is important to development as an athlete and a coach. I am very excited for this year’s camp and hope to see you all there!”
